As a person that’s Autistic and ADHD, I’ve found through working with Karen I’m not a hoarder, I find it hard to get rid of stuff due to memories imbedded in things. I also found out a lot of what I bought is sensory, colours, fabrics etc. Karen over the last 18 months has shown me strategies to put away things and ideas for storage, she has gone above and beyond with her work with me. I used to walk into areas of our home and mentally leave again because its so unorganised, I felt I was failing. Sometimes just getting out the door every morning took me so long because I couldn’t find anything, which was such a struggle with the children. Karen helped me to make some changes that were so positive they helped the whole family and I am really feeling more confident now because I feel in control again

I asked Karen to help as she is organised , creative and great at understanding and interacting with people.  Karen provided a structure and plan including recommendations for local skips and electrician and suggestions for keeping memories whilst letting go of items we really didn’t need or would never use. Karen provided low cost design ideas for storing kept items. Karen was very respectful during the clearance allowing time for reminiscing and decision making and making sure the decision making fitted with my work schedule. All work was completed on time  – the clearance took 3 days – and was actually fun and stress free. We now have a loft where we can access and store what we need. The rest of the house of now freed from items that are now in the loft. We also retrieved priceless photos and letters. I’m delighted and thoroughly recommend Mardi Girl The Organising Lady.

I had the best value day today ever!
l have been retired for 5 years and have been unable to clear the decks in my office. l kept on opening the door, looking at what looked completely unmanageable, and shutting the door again, a whole room in a small house was completely unusable. Today Karen, The Organising Lady came to help, and in 4 hours my office was cleared of the past 14 years of clutter, sorted into manageable categories, polished and dusted, and restored to a usable room that l can now repurpose into whatever l need.

I am a busy full time working mum. Karen has organised my whole house with only the storage area and garage left to do. She is thoughtful and considerate and I immediately felt at ease with her. We had a family holiday of a lifetime booked and I was in a complete panic about what to wear!! We were off to Orlando for 2 weeks and I wanted to be comfortable for all of the walking but also wanted to look good. I didn’t want to be that ‘mom’ in white socks and trainers!!

Karen was amazing! She just seemed to have an eye for the perfect item and fit! She chose a couple of outfits that were great for the day but could also work in the evening when we went out for dinner or stayed to watch the fireworks. She even found me 2 pairs of cute pumps that made some of the outfits!!

I have still worn all of the clothes back in England and get regular comments about how good they look!

You always get me to consider clothes that I never look at in a shop as I’m convinced they would not suit me. Your eye for shape and colour and detail, you got me out of my basic black and navy! You talked me into trying a beautiful green and gold colour coatigan which was way out of my comfort zone but I have had amazing comments and (as you said it would ) it has been great for my recent holiday and will be perfect for Autumn/Winter. I always feel confident with the clothes you choose and I actually wear them, gone are the days when I have loads of things hanging in the wardrobe unworn with the tags on! Looking forward to my next shopping trip.

To be honest I always go to Karen in a panic around clothes. She also guided me on outfits for a work event in New York – how to look good on the plane but also comfortable for that 8 hour flight! Once she understands you and what you need she is like a whirlwind of organisation and vision.
